In celebration of Adele's recently announced visit to New Zealand the TVNZ Breakfast crew decided to pay tribute to the superstar with an a capella rendition of her hit Send My Love.
If you can call it a tribute.
Hilary Barry took the lead vocals for the song - and was actually pretty good - while Daniel Faitaua, Sam Wallace, Brodie Kane, Sarah Gandy and Melissa Stokes chimed in to create the track and it was...interesting to say the least.
Even Hilary, Daniel and Melissa hung their heads in shame after airing the clip, and Hilary said: "Yeah, we know it's embarrassing, we're embarrassed."
Adele will be in New Zealand on March 23 to play one show only at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium, where her set will be a unique 360 degree, in-the-round production.
She posted a handwritten note on Instagram this morning announcing the show that said: "Kia ora New Zealand! I wouldn't miss you for the world. I'll see you in Auckland. Can't wait."
