Kiwi star and Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi took the 75th Golden Globes by storm yesterday.

Waititi rocked a total black-out look complete with a ‘Times Up’ badge in support of the social movement where actors are taking a stand against sexual harassment in the film industry.

He rubbed shoulders with the rich and famous by dining with  Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie and Thor actor Chris Hemsworth at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The Boy star also shared a moment with Matt Damon and Amazon Founder/CEO Jeff Bezos.

Taika was in good spirits and cheekily gives the camera a ‘Kiwi Blue Steel’ look throughout the evening too.

Waititi made one of the best Marvel movies ever - now Disney wants him to helm a Star Wars film.

Star Wars boss Kathleen Kennedy has offered Kiwi Taika Waititi the chance to direct an upcoming Star Wars movie.

"I would love for him to direct a Star Wars movie," Kennedy said during promotional duties for upcoming film The Last Jedi in Tokyo.
