Kiwi star Julian Dennison really is taking over Hollywood; he's just been named to work on upcoming blockbuster epic Godzilla vs Kong.
The 15-year-old will take a supporting role alongside Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown as well and Bloodline's Kyle Chandler, the Hollywood Reporter confirms.
Legendary Pictures has reportedly also offered a role to two-time Oscar winner, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri's Frances McDormand.
This role marks Dennison's second major Hollywood franchise following his most recent role in Deadpool 2, alongside Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin and more.
Godzilla vs Kong will be the fourth installment in Legendary's MonsterVerse following 2014's Godzilla, 2017's Kong: Skull Island, and the Godzilla sequel which is currently in production.
Filmmaker Adam Wingard is set to direct the crossover film and says it will act as something of a sequel to the Godzilla film slated for release in 2019.
"We have a couple characters from Godzilla 2 in ours, but it'll be interesting to see how Kong has fared over the years," he told ComingSoon.net.
"You see him in that film and he's just constantly under attack. Things are going wrong and there's probably been lots of human intervention since then. It'll be interesting to see a more rugged, a bit more aged Kong in this film."
Godzilla vs Kong is slated for release in May 2020.
