Steptember is upon us! Yes, you read that right: it’s Steptember, and that typo is on purpose.

Some of our favourite Kiwi celebs are getting behind a great cause supporting a charity that helps raise awareness for Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities.

The aim is for people to count their daily steps and document their activity via ‘stelfies’ to be able to win $5k worth of travel money.

Silver Fern Martia Tutaia explains how Steptember works.

“STEPTEMBERRR! 👟Introducing the #stelfie 📸💃🏾. Join me & many others while we raise awareness for Cerebral Palsy this September. 10,000 steps in 28 days yeeww 💃🏾 Simply take a selfie, whilst being active with #hashtags & all included, and share your own #stelfie (stepping-selfie) for this worthy cause. You'll also be in to win $5000 worth of travel 😱👌🏽. Looking forward to seeing ya #stelfie & making this STEPTEMBER one to remember”

Celebrity Auckland housewife Gilda Kirkpatrick has been picking up the pace.

“Got my boxing 🥊 in for @steptembernz Remember to share your #stelfie to go in the draw to win $5,000”

Professional sportsman Monty Betham says: “I’m fueling up to do 10,000 steps for the team at @steptembernz. If you’re doing it too make sure you share a #stelfie like mine and you’ll go in the draw to win $5,000 worth of travel. Simple as that.”

Model mum Anna Reeve gets out and active on a nice sunny day.

All Black WAG Tima Savea got ‘her step on.’

Health and lifestyle blogger Mille Elder-Holmes (a.k.a CleanEatzNZ) enjoys some sunshine by the pool.

Netballer Kayla Cullen “found some buddies to help her smash out 10,000 steps.”
