Kiwi actress Danielle Cormack has taken on a new role, she is now a ChildFund Australia ambassador. A far cry from her role as Bea Smith in the Aussie drama series.
Cormack has been travelling through rural Cambodia to witness the many challenges faced by children living in these remote communities. She is also showing the world the many incredible ways in which ChildFund is helping.
ChildFund Australia is thrilled with how Cormack is inspiring so many people during her visit. They posted a video to their Instagram account showing a day in the life of an ambassador in one minute.
How do you fit one day into one minute? Here’s how! @_daniellecormack_ had a jam-packed first day seeing ChildFund’s work in action in Cambodia’s rural #Kratie province. From meeting the mothers at a nutrition group and the young women and men from a youth savings group, to visiting a ChildFund-supported school and having a dance lesson, here are some highlights from the day 😁 You can sponsor a child in #Cambodia to help them and their community overcome poverty – link in bio.
Warning! Spoiler alert!
The Australian finale of season 4 of the featured a very violent ending. Many fans were shocked and took to social media to express their horror at the plot twist.
Cormack posted a moody black and white photo to her Instagram with the caption “Hello from Thailand 🌹 I hear the world lost a bit of colour last night. 😓 Thank you so much for joining us for Wentworth season 4 - and for those who are yet to see it enjoy the ride!
No word yet and whether or not it’s the end for Queen Bea, but fans are already speculating that she’ll be back. Guess they will just have to wait until season 5 which is due out in 2017.
