Former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens has touched down in New Zealand.
The star, best known for her role in High School Musical, was spotted out and about in Auckland yesterday with her boyfriend, Austin Butler.
The 28-year-old actress is visiting Butler as he films the second season of The Zone’s fantasy series, The Shannara Chronicles.
It is at least the second visit to New Zealand for the actress. Hudgens previously came to the country in 2015 when Butler was here filming the first season of the hit series, sharing photos from a trip to Bethels Beach.
She has yet to share any photos from her latest trip, with her last Instagram post promoting a recent visit to the Ellen show.
Hudgens and Butler started dating in 2011 after meeting at a party.
The visit from the star comes after a busy holiday period for international celebs. Sam Smith, Emmy Rossum, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Isla Fisher all made their way through the country during December and January.
Butler is one of the lead actors on Shannara, which first aired last year. The show is an adaptation of the books by Terry L. Brooks, and focuses on a future, dystopic version of Earth where magic has replaced technology.
It stars New Zealander Manu Bennett and Lord of the Rings actor John Rhys Davies.
There is currently no release date for the second season, which has only recently started filming.
Hudgens stars in the DC Comics comedy series, Powerless, which recently started on TVNZ On Demand.
