Are you one of the thousands of people who proclaimed 2017 to be the year of losing weight and achieving the body beautiful?
Are you also one of the thousands of people already wavering on that resolution by January 3?
Well, fear not. We have compiled a list of local stars to follow for fitspiration this year. (And there isn't a professional athlete to be seen on it - because they get paid to go to the gym.)
So prepare to be inspired. Or very envious.
As far as fitness inspiration goes, it's hard to go past the actor who came to worldwide attention playing the menacing Khal Moro on Game of Thrones last year.
It comes as no surprise that away from his various acting gigs, Joe Naufahu has also founded his own gym – the man is the perfect walking advertisement of the benefits of healthy living.
Meanwhile, Dancing with the Stars co-host and radio presenter Sharyn Casey is living proof a little Instagram fitspiration can go a long way.
In a column she wrote for Fairfax Media in December, Casey revealed she was struggling with weight gain at the beginning of 2016 after suffering three miscarriages. But the star became inspired when she saw a magazine cover of a fit and lean Khloe Kardashian.
Casey decided to hit the gym, honestly documenting her fitness struggles – and then her fitness successes - along the way.
As of December, she was down a whole 10kg (or 20 packs of butter for those of us who think in baking terms) and more than ready to hit the beach for summer.
As the woman has said herself, no more elastic waistbands for this celeb!
When it comes to keeping in shape, it helps to have a world class rugby player by your side if Hannah Laity's Instagram page is anything to go by.
The tax specialist often posts photos of her exercise regime online, with All Black partner Beauden Barrett occasionally playing a supporting role.
She's also been known to post photos of training sessions taking place on holiday weekends and Sunday mornings. Anybody who gets out and completes a punishing workout with a personal trainer on Labour Weekend while the rest of us are sleeping in and dreaming of coffee deserves some fitspiration kudos.
And if you're looking for inspiration to catch the running bug this year, then look no further than Rachel Smalley.
Not only does the radio presenter get up at a ridiculous hour to host Early Edition over on Newstalk ZB, but this mum-of-one still finds the time and energy to train for marathons.
Bitten by the running high in 2014, Smalley has been pounding the pavements and bush tracks ever since.
"I recognised how good running was for my mind more than anything," she told the Herald last year.
"Running for me feels like an indulgence, particularly as a working mother when you don't have much time for yourself, but when I train (without my phone) I have time to think, plan and get my ducks in a row."
Having run marathons in Christchurch, Queenstown, Hawkes Bay, Beirut and Chicago, this year Smalley is tackling one of the most famous long-distance events in the world: the Boston Marathon. We wish her luck!
Art Green and Matilda Rice
The couple that runs together, stays together, right?
That must be the ethos Bachelor NZ sweethearts Matilda Rice and Art Green live by these days. Ever since the duo found each other on national television, they’ve been setting couple fitness goals for the rest of us to follow.
Both stars share workout pics to their Instagram accounts and have demonstrated the wide range of activities that make up their fitness regime – gym sessions, kayaking, swimming, golf, endurance events and lots of running.
It would all be positively sick-making if they weren't so adorable.
But let's not forget Rice and Green's esteemed Bachelor franchise colleagues.
When you're choosing to appear on a show that requires you to turn up in slinky cocktail dresses every week, chances are you're probably a bit of an exercise fanatic too.
Season one's Dani Robinson often shares tales from her workout regime with Instagram fans, while Chrystal Chenery is a shining example of what regular yoga can do for a person. Get busy practising those headstands, guys.
We must also tip our hats to season two star, Jordan Mauger, for his dedication to shredding at least.
When Mauger first began his quest for love on The Bachelor NZ last year, it came as a surprise to many that he also starred in TV3 drama Westside.
The Bachelor with the red roses was a world away from the TV character of pawn shop boss Rob Nugent. A whole 25kg away, in fact.
We don't know how he managed to drop all that weight, but we're mightily impressed.
And finally, we have actress Teuila Blakely.
If we ever needed proof that a busy lifestyle full of fabulous parties can sit alongside a healthy workout philosophy, then Blakely is it.
Her sense of fun extends to the exercise regime she shares with her social media followers and it clearly works for her.
And seeing as she's just been gifted a whole bunch of new workout gear for Christmas, we can expect to see more of the same in 2017...
