Life has certainly taken a glamorous turn for Dan Carter and wife Honor since they moved their family to Paris for his rugby career.
The couple have been the toast of the French city since they arrived late last year, with dinner dates at Michelin starred restaurants, meeting the queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese, and mingling with fashion's elite at Louis Vuitton shows.
And now Honor has enjoyed another perk of being married to a famous rugby player – getting to go backstage to meet bands after enjoying their shows.
The mother of two excitedly posted to Instagram from Mumford & Sons' Parisian concert two days ago, and today shared a snap of herself posing with lead singer Marcus Mumford, beers at the ready.
"Awesome night and super nice guy," she wrote of the experience.
Dan Carter's first year with Paris club Racing 92 has been largely successful, with the former All Black lauded in the English press for making the team a "force to be reckoned with".
However, the wheels did wobble towards the end of the season with the star first-five's side losing the European Champions Cup final against Saracens earlier this month.
