Newlyweds Richie and Gemma McCaw seem to be having a love affair with Melbourne and the high-octane events held there.
Earlier this year, the Former All Black captain and Black Stick pair enjoyed a high-profile time at the Australian Open and the following week, Gemma hung out with supermodel Karlie Kloss in a promo activation with Adidas.
Last month Richie was the special guest as a “Friend of Mercedes-Benz” at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, where the sports star told his followers he was lucky to get on the track just prior to the start.

One Kiwi great seemed to rub off on another with Kiwi professional racing driver Fabian Coulthard taking overall honours at the non-championship Supercars round at the Australian Grand Prix, despite a blown tyre — just like Richie playing on at the RWC with a broken foot.
It wasn’t lost on Coulthard, who admitted to having a wee fan-boy moment with McCaw as they posed together.
The McCaws then attended a celebrity wedding at The Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, for the nuptials of former Neighbours’ hunk, Aussie actor Tim Phillipps, 28, (who left the show last year) and his Kiwi-born bride Jessica Lee Rose.

Rose, known for her work in US series Greek and for her part in the Lindsay Lohan movie I Know Who Killed Me, is a friend of Gemma’s from the Bay of Plenty.
After the wedding, McCaw had an average game but a wonderful day at the exclusive Royal Melbourne Golf Course in Black Rock.
