Richie McCaw, Gemma Flynn and Toni Street have jumped aboard the latest viral bandwagon - literally. They're just three of the Kiwi celebs taking up the Burpees for Babies challenge, issued by Plunket.

Gemma and Richie McCaw proved themselves as NZ sporting royalty, making burpees look way too easy with their clip – though Gemma commented that their "form was average".

Gemma challenged Israel and Daisy Dagg, who rose to the challenge – even though Daisy is almost 8 months pregnant.

The Hits and Seven Sharp host Toni Street took a break from breakfast radio duties to do some in-studio burpees, with co-host Sam Wallace also taking part.

While Monty Betham recruited some Boxing Alley trainers to join in on the fun.

Eyes are now on Beauden Barret & Hannah Laity, Jay & Anna Reeve, KJ Apa, Joe Parker, Stan Walker, Jerome Kaino and Lydia Ko, who have all been tagged to do their part.

The challenge aims to raise money for Plunket's Raise a Bundle campaign, which runs for the month of March with a goal of $10,000.

Participants can text FIVE to 2448 to donate $3 to the campaign.
