Being a nation that takes sport very, very seriously, it's no surprise the wives and girlfriends of New Zealand's biggest sports stars garner almost as much attention as their other halves these days.
But as these five WAGs demonstrate, their enduring appeal has little to do with the fact they just so happen to have a famous, sports-playing partner.
Take a glance at all the pies Daisy Dagg has her fingers in these days (metaphorically and literally – she is a cookbook author, after all) and you'd be forgiven for wondering where she finds the time to do it all.
A new mum to five-month-old son Arlo, Dagg also keeps herself busy with food blogging and co-authoring cookbooks via The Rugby Pantry platform.
She and husband, All Black Israel Dagg, also recently invested in a Christchurch daycare centre after she helped develop a sugar-free menu for the franchise's North Island centres.
Looks like Israel isn't the only one in the family kicking goals!
Putting her partner Warrior Bodene Thompson's baby-mama dramas behind her earlier this month, 20-year-old Kaea Pearce is about to embark on a world tour with dance phenomenon, Parris Goebel.
Pearce is one of the brightest stars to emerge from Goebel's world-famous dance crew, and has danced for Justin Bieber, Rihanna and The Weeknd. She even got to kiss the cheek of one Jennifer Lopez during a performance at the American Music Awards.
And we reckon all 125,000 of Pearce's Instagram fans will be keenly following her work on the Parris Project World Tour when it kicks off in Sydney next month, before heading to Auckland and nearly 20 other international cities.
Still going strong after eight years together, Greer Samuel and her All Black partner TJ Perenara are easily one of the cutest couples on the rugby scene.
With a strong belief in family, fun and their fur baby, Samuel and Perenara give us all the relationship goals.
We also love Samuel for using her social media platform this month to support marriage equality in Australia.
"[I'm] standing with [TJ] and encouraging Australians to vote yes for equality. I think you'll find the world will keep turning, the sun will still rise, and people are still people. Love is love," she wrote.
Laura McGoldrick has many, many job titles: Broadcaster, radio host, actress, MC, and now that she's on maternity leave, she's in the process of adding 'mother' to that list.
But as well as being a woman of many talents, McGoldrick is also a lot of fun, whether she's setting up cute baby gender reveals, agreeing to go on the radio with her husband, Black Cap Martin Guptill, to talk about their pet peeves, or struggling to keep her composure while presenting a hotdog costume story for NZH Focus.
No, he’s not a WAG (obviously), but a HAB.
Warriors star Shaun Johnson and Silver Fern Kayla Cullen are one of the country's sporting power couples, with both kept busy on and off the league field and netball court.
Besides his sporting commitments, Johnson has a keen interest in fashion, with his own SJ clothing line and a couple of runway gigs under his belt. But when he's not playing league or dealing with any of his other business ventures, it's clear Johnson spends his time positively worshipping the ground Cullen walks on. (Even when that means having to become an honorary Belieber.)
