The Real Housewives of Auckland are heading to Port Douglas this week — and we can’t wait to see the bikinis, martinis and scraps in Aussie. Apparently, it was a dramatic trip, with the producers surprising the ladies by making them share hotel rooms! Expect cat fights in the rooms, bars and by the sun loungers of the Sheraton Mirage.

For Louise Wallace, Gilda Kirkpatrick and Michelle Blanchard the drama spilled over to the trip home. The airline had to hold the plane for the threesome, who were fashionably late. To add insult to injury, the airline staff then had to find space for all the shopping bags the housewives were toting. Insiders say they had about five bags each. Cue death stares from the rest of the business class passengers.

Weeks later, Wallace almost didn’t make it to her promo trip to Sydney for the RHWOA junket with Anne Batley Burton, as we hear she left her passport in one of her overstuffed Port Douglas bags. Karma perhaps?

As for the rest of the ladies, Angela Stone has been in Melbourne this week, promoting the show and her brand, and mingling with the Housewives over there. One with whom she had a lot in common was Lydia Schiavello, also a tall brunette, who like Stone, occasionally mispronounces words. Co-incidentally, Schiavello has an intern on the show called Johanna, who is ridden even more roughly than Stone’s French intern Lea. Both interns have had fake twitter accounts created about their servitude perils. While in Melbourne, Stone signed with Aussie modelling agency Giant — and no, it is not an agency for plus-sized models.

This week, Batley Burton and husband Richard aka “Cuddly Bear” have been enjoying some downtime which has included drinking tea and champagne and dancing at pricey Huka Lodge. Last week Julia Sloane was skiing the slopes in Queenstown and she is now off to Rarotonga for some R&R with investment banker husband Michael Lorimer before heading straight to Bali with her daughter Eleanor.

Glamourpuss Blanchard and her daughter, aspiring model Christelle, are jetting off to New York, LA and London and are desperate to get some sun — and of course more shopping done.
