With less than a week to go until Parris Gobel walks the red carpet at MTV's Video Music Awards, the Kiwi choreographer is cementing her place as a bona fide music star, releasing her second single, Nasty.
Goebel, who makes music under the name Parri$, premiered the video on The FADER website yesterday.
The video was directed by Goebel and features some of her favourite dancers. It was filmed on a farm right here in NZ.
She explained to The FADER that it was important to her to capture the beauty of her home country.
"The concept was to embrace the natural feel of New Zealand, and I wanted to shoot on a farm while the sun was setting," she said.
"All the dancers — who are part of my core squad — were wearing clothing that was made to feel fresh and raw to represent the beautiful outdoors of our country."
The song is off her debut project Run & Tell Your Friends, which is scheduled to be released on 17 October.
