Rainn Wilson is all "shook up" after the earthquake that hit New Zealand this morning.
The Office star posted a video to Instagram detailing the “trauma” he experienced during the earthquake.
“I’m in New Zealand and yeah, I’m a little bit shook up,” he told his 596k followers.
“There was an earthquake last night. Apparently, it was pretty strong off the coast of New Zealand and I was awakened in the middle of the night and I’m a little bit traumatised. I kind of know what trauma is now.”
He then went on to reveal the close call he had with a pillow during the event.
“There was a pillow that was up against the headboard, resting against the headboard, kind of lodged, and during the earthquake - which woke me up at like, 2am - the pillow fell down onto my face, directly onto my face.
“If I had had a heart attack or something like that, and then that pillow was there … Who knows what could have happened? So I’m a little shook up.”
Thankfully Wilson made it through the night.
Wilson is currently in New Zealand working on sci-fi shark flick, Meg, starring Jason Statham and Orange Is the New Black actress, Ruby Rose.
The film is about a giant prehistoric shark that attacks an international underwater observation program.
Wilson described the film as “an action film where Jason Statham battles a giant shark” in his Instagram post.
