Rainn Wilson may get attacked by a shark while he’s in New Zealand.
The America actor, known for his work in the US version of The Office, has landed in New Zealand for the filming of Meg, a sci-fi film based on Steve Alten's 1997 novel Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror.
The film is about a giant prehistoric shark that attacks an international underwater observation program and also stars Jason Statham and Orange Is The New Black star, Ruby Rose.
Wilson posted a series of tweets expressing his thoughts on New Zealand, comparing our country to Canada.

New Zealand is basically Canada.— RainnWilson (@rainnwilson) August 30, 2016
Wilson also posted about Kiwi comedy star Rhys Darby’s TV show Short Poppies, calling it “hystericamazing”.
The star has a few other New Zealand connections.
He has starred alongside Kiwi actress Keisha Castle-Hughes in the TV show Roadies, and in 2011 it was reported on Reddit that the actor had died while visiting New Zealand, of course, this turned out to be a hoax.
Hopefully, Wilson avoids getting eaten by any real sharks during his stay in New Zealand this time around.
