Meg, the movie about the prehistoric shark is currently filming in and around Auckland. Spy has managed to track down the man behind all the stunts for the upcoming movie - Allan Poppleton. Married to Truebliss singer Erika Takas, Poppleton is no stranger to working with Hollywood hardman Jason Statham. They previously worked together on Mechanic Resurrection which came out in August this year.

He also worked on Central Intelligence with The Rock and Kevin Hart as the fight and stunt co-ordinator. Poppleton and Takas attended the premiere in Los Angeles back in June.

Poppleton is now back in Auckland working as the stunt co-ordinator on Meg. He has posted lots of fantastic behind-the-scenes photos and videos from filming to his Instagram page.

Today he posted a couple of shots from filming - he even kept it in the family when he got his daughter Scarlett to participant in some of the stunts. From the look on her face, she's loving it.
