An auction for a MAFS marriage certificate has attracted bids of just $4 after hitting TradeMe yesterday.
Married at First Sight New Zealand star Benjamin Blackwell is keen to sell his “used” marriage certificate.
In a tongue and cheek style TradeMe listing for a “Limited edition Marriage,” Blackwell says the marriage is “in terrible condition”.
“Barely used … Bit of a fixer upper if you will. It's a two-year contract, 17 months left on it.
“This is a limited edition one of a kind Marriage. The only Same sex marriage signed on reality TV in NZ and with MAFS Season 2 marriages expected to be not legally binding its set to be the only one for years to come.”
The listing has 7 bids so far with $4 leading the way.
Shipping for the certificate is “to be arranged” and “pickups” are allowed.
Blackwell was married to Christchurch ambulance driver Aaron Chisholm for only a short time before they mutually split during the show.
We look forward to seeing what price you can place on a reality TV marriage Ben!
