NZ designer Emilia Wickstead, one of the preferred designers of the Duchess of Cambridge, held her show at London Fashion Week on Saturday. Her Spring/Summer collection featured soft sleeves, flowing skirts, gentle florals and beautiful pastel colours.

Known for offering a modern twist on old-world couture, the London-based Kiwi designer reportedly used 1970s ‘love hotels’ as inspiration for her latest collection.

Her show was attended by Dianna Agron from the TV series Glee, Hannah Redmayne, the wife of Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne and style icon Olivia Palermo, who is clearly a fan of the designer, having attended her show at London Fashion Week back in February.

Meanwhile, Kiwi model Georgia Fowler strutted her stuff down the catwalk for Topshop Unique, Temperley and opened for Italian designer Fausto Puglisi. The Auckland-born model who now lives in New York took to Instagram to share the experience with her 140k+ followers.

Victoria's Secret star and Kiwi educated model Stella Maxwell also took part in the Topshop Unique fashion show and was the closing model. She also walked for Marc Jacobs, Versace and Alberta Ferretti. Maxwell attended the Love Magazine party at the swanky Lou Lou's nightclub in London where she had an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction. The Marc Jacobs dress she was wearing didn't quite cover her top half. The model, voted Maxim's Sexiest Woman for 2016 seemed unaware of the mishap, unfortunately for her, the photographers didn't miss a thing.
