On Saturday night the welterweight rematch between The Ultimate Fighter 5 winner and former lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz and UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor took place in Las Vegas.

The bout attracted a lot of familiar kiwi faces, including boxer Joseph Parker. Although famous in his own right, Parker managed to score a photo with an even more famous face - chart topping singer, Bruno Mars. The Uptown Funk singer also took to Twitter to jokingly post his frustration at being short in stature:

Awesome fights @UFC Here's a pic of my view.

Also spotted in the crowd was Shavaugh Ruakere with partner, music festival guru Toby Burrows. The pair were staying at the Egyptian inspired Luxor hotel in Vegas.

Ex-Shorty Street star Cameron Jones was also there. Jones took to social media to post his view of the fighting ring.

When asked who he was backing, Jones replied "Diaz cuz". Unfortunately on the night he backed the wrong guy as Irishman Conor McGregor won the fight after 5 rounds.
