Singer Kehlani has recently left New Zealand after performing during the week, but not before having a moment with her favourite Kiwi star.
The Honey hitmaker opened for Halsey at Spark Arena on Thursday marking her third visit to New Zealand in just six months.
While she was here, she made an Instagram post about looking for whales, which was commented on by Kiwi star Keisha Castle-Hughes, and Kehlani lost it.
She took to her Insta story to say: "Y'all...the real Paikea commented on my picture WHILST I'm in New Zealand. My entire childhood is screaming. Long live Pai...I'm going to cry now."
She was referring to Castle-Hughes' role as Paikea Apirana in the 2002 Niki Caro film, Whale Rider.
She also wrote: "Always wishing I had more time in New Zealand, the energy running through here is so sacred and special. Love you so much."
So if you missed Kehlani while she was here, don't worry - sounds like she'll be back the first chance she gets!
