Star Trek: Beyond cast members Chris Pine, Simon Pegg and NZ's own Karl Urban all attended a special screening at the White House with Michelle Obama.
The screening was a joint initiative with the Joining Forces, an organisation that works hand in hand with the public and private sectors to ensure that service members, veterans, and their families have the tools they need to succeed throughout their lives.
Urban also posted on his Twitter "An absolute pleasure to meet Michelle Obama @FLOTUS and show @StarTrekMovie for @JoiningForces initiative."
On Tuesday, Urban stopped by The Today Show with Kathy Lee and Hoda to promote the movie. He posted a cute photo on his Instagram where he is sandwiched between the two hosts, with the caption "Big thanks to #KLGandHoda @todayshow for a fun morning! @StarTrekMovie in theaters Friday!
