ZM breakfast host Megan Sellers may regret complaining about having nothing to wear to New Zealand Fashion Week. Her co-hosts Carl Fletcher and Vaughan Smith decided to help out by launching their own designer label - Haus of Hutton and design an outfit for her.
They took themselves off to Rangitoto College to brush up on their sewing skills. As you can imagine their efforts were pretty disastrous and they certainly tested the patience of their teacher, Mrs Pearce. Especially when Fletch referred to the cotton as 'string'.
When their creations were completed, it was up to Mrs Pearce to decide who was going home, as per Project Runway. Of course Fletch was eliminated as his outfit had no arm holes. "It was designed for people with broken arms" he replied when questioned about the dress.

Luckily (or should we say unluckily) for Sellers the boys got their creative juices flowing and came up with the perfect outfit for her to wear to fashion week.
This show stopping dress is titled 'Clean RoyGBiv' and is modelled by Sellers herself and you can see from her blue steel expression she couldn't be more thrilled.
Sellers is due to attend the Hailwood show tonight with her fiancé Andrew. When asked about her outfit Sellers replied "I’m mortified. It was all fun and games on air but the reality of actually wearing this to Fashion Week is not cool."
"I’ll never say I have nothing to wear ever again!" she wailed.
Meanwhile designer Vaughn Smith is excited about his debut at fashion week - "It will be the stuff of legend! We put a lot of thought and energy into this design and if she doesn’t wear it, it will be an absolutely betrayal."
We can definitely see a future for Haus of Hutton and rumour has it that all the $2 shops in Auckland are fighting to be the official suppliers.
