He's shared his 'instructional' videos on YouTube on how to dad, now the creator of the videos, Jordan Watson is getting his own show.

So far we've learned how to travel with a baby, install a baby seat, get a baby to clean the house and our personal favourite - how to get a baby to sleep.

The videos have been watched by people all over the world with his biggest audiences being in America, the UK and Singapore.

Watson will receive $84,903 from NZ On Air and YouTube (half each) for the show How To Dad, by How To Dad, as part of a new initiative between NZ On Air and Google.

The show which is due to be completed by the end of summer 2017, is one of four web series receiving close to $330,000 in funding collectively.

Originally from Waikato, Watson hopes to film as much of the series as possible in rural NZ.

Watson said he started the original How To Dad series to entertain a couple of mates were due to be dads.

We can't wait to see what he comes up with.
