Gilda Kirkpatrick and Michelle Blanchard revealed a new side to themselves this week in the Herald’s Viva magazine, toning down their usual heavy glam look for a more natural finish.
While preparing for the Fame and Fashion shoot, the pair confirmed what we’ve all suspected – not everything is as real as the producers would have us believe.
“I may not have invited Anne to a nude drawing class,” Gilda confessed to Viva writer Rebecca Barry-Hill.
“And I may not have invited Angela for coffee,” added Michelle.
We can only imagine which other controversial scenes may not have played out exactly as they were shown on air.
The pair, who looked stunning in the photoshoot styled by Viva fashion editor Dan Ahwa and photographed by Guy Coombes, were clearly thrilled with the results, posting several snaps to their social media accounts.
Gilda paid special tribute to Coombes, who she called “very magical” while Blanchard posted the cover, saying she was “so pleased with this”.
