Spy understands former Shortland Street star Frankie Adams is the latest actor to join the cast of Sir Peter Jackson’s sci-fi blockbuster Mortal Engines. Word on the street is she started filming at Stone Street studios in Miramar, joining a number of international and Kiwi actors on set.
Adams’ official part in the movie is yet to be revealed.
She is already a sci-fi star after joining the second season of The Expanse playing high octane character Bobbie Draper.
After she finishes filming in Wellington Adams will head to Vancouver to film the 3rd season of The Expanse.
Last month we revealed English actress Menik Gooneratne, Irish actor Robert Sheehan, Icelandic actress Hera Hilmar and South Korean musician and actress Jihae, had arrived for filming.
Since then, in between taking in the sights, they have been entertained on and off set by Jackson’s daughter, 30-year-old actress Katie who last year took Ed Sheeran around Queenstown, where they took a tandem bungy jump.
