Rainn Wilson is getting into all things New Zealand.
The Office star has been in the country for less than a to film shark thriller movie Meg alongside Jason Statham.
But he’s already working his way through some pretty Kiwi-as things.
Here are five of them:
1. Delved into some Kiwi comedy
Wilson checked out Kiwi comedian, Rhys Darby’s TV series Short Poppies, and praised it as "Hystericamazing". Yes, he had to make up a whole new word just to describe how much he liked it.
2. Got onboard with Air New Zealand
Wilson totally dug the look of our local airline. In a post on Instagram, he dubbed the designs on an Air New Zealand plane "the coolest design of all time". Of all time, guys!
3. Survived a New Zealand earthquake
Last week an earthquake struck off the coast and Wilson made it through unscathed, although it did leave him a little "shook up."
4. Learned some fun facts
Wilson shared some facts about New Zealand that he’s learned since his arrive with his Twitter followers. Including that we have no native mammals and that we aren’t ever "mean or grumpy". It's a fact.

He was a little off on one fact: thinking that we are "basically Canada". Off by the entire Pacific Ocean, but that's ok.

5. Watched David Farrier’s doco
What’s more Kiwi than Farrier uncovering the seedy underbelly of competitive tickling? Well, Wilson watched it this morning and thought it was "incredible".
