The one and only Fergie from Black Eyed Peas fame has given Kiwi dance star Parris Goebel an international shout out.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight about her new ‘visual’ album Double Duchess she says she is heavily inspired by Beyonce, Justin Bieber and our star Parris Goebel.

“It’s different from Beyonce’s (visual album) but absolutely she is an inspiration to me in all areas. Performance, drive, balance…I mean how can you not be inspired by her!”

“Her doing that, Justin Bieber, you know, Beyonce of course paving the way. Justin Bieber doing his version, having Parris choreograph, and all the dancers, I just really enjoyed it as a fan… and it makes me listen to songs that I wouldn’t maybe necessarily listen to.”

Goebel took to Instgram to share her excitement about Fergie’s fangirl shoutout.

“Was such a nice surprise to see Fergie mention me in her ET interview. You guys already know my humps is my jammm so I'm like 🙊 thank you @fergie 💕”

Very cool!

Let’s hope these two ladies collaborate on something exciting soon.
