Ex-bachelorette Shari Flavall is selling her infamous Michael Hill diamond necklace on TradeMe.

Yep, it’s the exact same one 2016 NZ bachelor, Jordan Mauger gifted her during their date at the Auckland Art Gallery in season two.

Shari has since decided she wants to part with the sparkly present and re-gift the proceeds to charity.

According to the TradeMe description, Shari is offering to give 50 percent of the sale price of the teardrop diamond necklace to Foster Hope NZ.

Michael Hill Jewellers have also offered to match that value with a donation to Foster Hope NZ too.

The necklace itself is one carat of diamonds set in a 14 carat white gold teardrop with a matching chain. It’s worth a NZ retail price of $4,499.

Flavall took to Instagram with a picture and caption saying, “since I feel this necklace is wasted at the supermarket and special occasions are few and far between I'm going to put it to some good for some kids who really need it!”

“There are over 5,000 children in care in New Zealand, Foster Hope is a national charity that provides backpacks of basic essential items for children going into foster care.”

“Many of these children arrive at their placements with nothing but the clothes on their backs so I hope that the money raised from this auction can help provide a little light of hope in what can be an extremely stressful time in their lives. Happy bidding!”
