Colin Mathura-Jeffree is the envy of fashionistas about town.

Mathura-Jeffree is invited to the world premiere of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, in London — at the Odeon, Leicester Square, on June 29.

The VIP red-carpet affair will feature the movie’s leads Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders. A-listers who made cameo appearances in the movie, and who are set to attend, include Stella McCartney, Joan Collins and Jon Hamm.

Spy has long thought of Mathura-Jeffree as "Absolutely Fabulous" and when asked how he swung an invitation to the London shindig, he responded: "My movie networking with 20th Century Fox and my brand CMJ in Cinema has come together perfectly for me to be flown up business class, stay in the trendiest hotel and given the treatment. You can be sure I will be making a beeline for Joanna and Jennifer."

The movie is a spin-off from the massively popular Absolutely Fabulous TV series — created by Lumley and Saunders — following the Champagne-swilling lifestyles of their respective characters Patsy Stone and Edina Monsoon. Kate Moss, above, is central to the movie’s plot.

It proved to be a worldwide sensation and featured special cameos from the likes of Sir Elton John, Helena Bonham Carter, Britt Ekland, Whoopi Goldberg, Lulu, Moss and Graham Norton.

Mathura-Jeffree is no stranger to the trappings of the fine life and is set to make the most of his fleeting visit to the UK.

The 44-year-old has worked as a model for more than 20 years, including gracing some of the world’s most famous catwalks. He is also no stranger to TV screens, working as a judge and mentor on New Zealand’s Next Top Model and hosting New Zealand’s Hottest Home Baker.

Under his cinema brand this year, Mathura-Jeffree has been holding VIP movie premiere screenings and he told us that CMJ in Cinema will host the Kiwi premiere of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
