Some of New Zealand’s most famous faces — and well-heeled jetsetters — have escaped the winter blues to soak up the sun and sand at hotspots in Europe and the States.

Developer Simon Herbert and his former Mrs New Zealand wife, Paula, have been in Italy staying at the Private Fendi Suites in Rome, before checking out sports car royalty at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

The couple then enjoyed a luxury road trip through Spain, before heading down to settle in their new crew on their yacht in Ibiza on the Mediterranean.

Christopher "Topher"’ Richwhite — son of rich lister David Richwhite — has also been in Ibiza, taking charge of the DJ tables at some of the most elite parties in the Spanish party town.

On Thursday, YouTube sensation Logan Dodds joined girlfriend former Bachelorette Dani Robinson at her upmarket pad in Hammersmith, London. A trip to Portugal is on the cards for the couple.

Parnell tennis coach to the well-heeled, Martin Colenbrander, is attending Wimbledon.

Socialite Kim Owen has left her base in Belgravia, London, for some family time at dad Steve’s house in Maui.

Friend and Auckland-based It-girl Franky March is doing her best Carrie Bradshaw impersonation and has headed for rooftop fun at trendy hotel SIXTY SoHo in New York, mixing with the city’s millennial elite.

And Stonyridge owner Steve White has been enjoying the many wineries in California in the sunny Sonoma and Napa Valleys, as well as dining at The French Laundry, a three-star Michelin hotspot that is arguably the finest restaurant in the US.

Rich lister Richard Seton has shown overseas holidays aren’t only about relaxing poolside. He has completed a cycling tour of Europe that has seen him pedal his way through the mountains of Mont Ventoux through to the Passo Sella in the Italian Dolomites. The odyssey took several weeks and came after spending time with his lovely wife, Angela, at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, England.

Kiwi European-based rugby stars are also getting into the holiday mode.

Dan and Honor Carter have celebrated his team, Racing 92, winning the French club rugby championship with a family holiday in Provence.

Ali Williams — who will resurrect his playing career at Racing 92 next season — his pregnant wife, Casey, and their 3-year-old daughter Jessica have also been jetting off on a private plane with good friend and New Zealand Bloodstock heiress Petrea Vela to enjoy the beaches and a little mini-golf in Portugal.

Fellow former All Black Colin Slade has been making the most of Venice with his wife, Emma.

Meanwhile, All Black wing Julian Savea will be home alone for the next wee while.

His gorgeous wife, Fatima, flew out of New Zealand this week for a holiday that will see her spend four nights in Los Angeles, before travelling to Russia to see her family.

In a social media post on Wednesday, Savea wrote: "And she’s off ... going to miss my wife so much, Have fun on ya trip! So not jealous. I love you and safe travels." Fatima told Spy she would miss her husband, but she was looking forward to a family reunion in Russia.
