A royal relationship isn't official until there's a Lifetime telemovie.
Fortunately, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, the dramatic retelling of how Prince Harry fell in love with former Suits star Meghan Markle, has been fast-tracked to coincide with their royal wedding this year.
So who will play the royal couple?
Parisa Fitz-Henley, 41, has been cast as Meghan, and she's a dead ringer for the American actress. According to IMDB, she's already appeared in Jessica Jones, Grey's Anatomy's, House of Cards and Midnight Texas. She confirmed the news on Instagram, saying she is "psyched" and "so happy".
Meanwhile, her on-screen love interest will be played by British actor Murray Fraser, who appears to be an industry newcomer, with small roles in just two shows: The Loch and Victoria.
Given the current frenzy of interest around Harry and Meghan, it's not surprising everyone was keen to suss out the actors bringing their story to Lifetime. But while Fitz-Henley actually bears a strong resemblance to Meghan — the same can't really be said for Harry and her co-star, who isn't even a natural redhead.
Production gets underway this week in Vancouver and Los Angeles, while the movie's release date will reportedly coincide with the royal couple's May 19 wedding at Windsor Castle.
